Koulouria (Greek easter Cookies)

 



Recipe

2pks unsalted butter (melted)
1 small cream
8 eggs (2 for egg wash on top)
1tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
add as needed self-raising flour
1 tsp vanilla essence or vanilla sugar


Method

1. Beat sugar and eggs until creamy.
2. Add melted butter, baking powder and vanilla.
3. Add cream
4. Add flour until dough becomes firm and pliable (soft)
5. Beat 2 eggs to brush on top once on tray and bake at 180/350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and store in container for up to 2 weeks.
